Our Story
Two for Joy Bridal was born from a personal journey—when founder Joanne struggled to find an affordable wedding dress that truly flattered her curvy figure, she knew something had to change. Her experience lit a spark, and she set out to create a space where every bride feels seen, celebrated, and supported.
Then came Bryony—a bride-to-be who found her dream dress with us and, in true fairy tale fashion, asked if there was a job going. She joined our team with the same nervous excitement our brides feel, and brings that empathy into every fitting.
Between us, we’ve lived the bridal rollercoaster: the nerves, the self-consciousness, the joy, and all the magic in between. That’s why we're here—not just to sell beautiful gowns, but to help you feel utterly radiant in your own skin.
We want our brides to feel safe enough to be vulnerable with us. For us its not just bridal wear - it's bridal care. ❤️

Two for Joy bridal were honestly the most amazing bridal shop! I was made to feel so comfortable and there were so many plus size dresses for me to choose from!

As the mother of the bride I can recommend a couple of hours of relaxation sitting and watching your daughter try on amazing stunning dresses while trying to hold back the tears.
I was included in the full experience, welcomed and made to feel comfortable with a drink in the most idyllic setting. Joanne made my daughter try dresses on we probably wouldn't have even thought of making the decision harder as they just looked outstanding. In her head she already knows the dress your daughter will want by finding out so much about you all and their wedding.
You wouldn't get this experience in a department store or large bridal place as this is 1-2-1 several hours with no rushing service and to top it off prices that you just can't beat for the quality and choice available of dresses.

I was made to feel so very comfortable. Bryony is honestly the most calming lady ever. Kind funny and passionate about the dresses the range of dresses is unbelievable. After trying on a few I finally found my dress and this weekend I finally said I do.

I couldn't recommend Two For Joy Bridal enough for curvy brides! I had the best experience with Bryony today, she allowed me to take my time and try on lots of dresses. I finally chose my dress and felt amazing, I’m still in absolute awe of the stunning dress I chose. I’ve walked away feeling so confident and happy. Can't wait to come back to get my veil. To top of it off, they gifted me a lovely gift box with some lovely goodies.
